Insurint becomes BrokerAdvantage

What makes two companies “fit?” The people? The products? I happen to think it’s their purpose. And based on Connecture’s recent acquisition of Insurint, I’d say that the folks in charge here at Connecture happen to agree. Both companies shared a common goal: to ease the distribution of health insurance. In this case, we deliver a multi-carrier quoting tool for brokers to sell more business quickly and efficiently. Combining Insurint’s technology and Connecture’s rich industry experience laid the foundation for building a successful relationship.

Connecture is a family of sorts. This is true not only with our employees, but also with our products. Each of our products play off the others’ strengths, and innovation in one area inevitably benefits the entire product line. The Insurint platform and the community of brokers it serves have been whole-heartedly welcomed to the Connecture family. And what’s a family for if they don’t build you up and make you better than you are today? That’s exactly what we’ve done with Insurint.

Since April, Insurint has been undergoing an “extreme makeover.” Our product team took the tool under the knife to work on bug fixes, browser compatibilities, and big enhancements. By now I’m sure you’ve noticed the first release of updates that became available to you earlier this month. While we’re very pleased with the progress being made, we’ve got bigger and better plans for our favorite quoting tool.

With new features and new functionality, we’ve decided it’s time to give Insurint a new persona as well. To help complete the transformative process, we’ve renamed the platform BrokerAdvantage. All of the updates we’re making are focused on a single pledge—to give our users the edge they need to thrive post-reform. Success is truly about securing the upper-hand. Your advantage is the ability to sell more business, retain more business, and therefore grow your business.

What does this facelift mean to you? Sit back and enjoy! There will be no interruptions or changes to your current workflow because BrokerAdvantage is the same product that you’re used to. Your login credentials will remain the same. You can even use the same portal sign-in page and be automatically redirected to portal.broker-advantage.com.

Meet the New Insurint Reps: Mick

My name is Mick Lacenski and I am a Business Development Specialist on the Insurint team. I recently graduated from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where I majored in HR and Marketing. Since accepting my position at Connecture, I’ve learned the Insurint platform inside and out and truly see the value it offers to users. While there certainly was a lot of information to process, my product knowledge comes into play daily as I speak with brokers about their questions and concerns.

Brokers often wonder how exactly an online tool will fit into their daily routine. I tell them this—once you experience Insurint’s seamless quote to close process, you’ll wonder how you ever got your job done without it. I also take my turn running the various online demo and training sessions that are scheduled throughout the week. I enjoy speaking with brokers just like you and helping them find success within our tool.

The Wait is Over! Let the Enhancement Ceremonies Begin!

As you know, everyone here at Connecture has been diligently working on exciting new upgrades and enhancements that will be rolling out throughout the coming months.  We’re excited to announce that the first roll out of enhancements was implemented today!   Much like proud parents, we want to share our exciting news with everyone. But rather than just telling you, we’d very much like to show you what we’ve been working on over the past few months.

Introducing 4 New Life Carriers!

I am extremely pleased to announce that a few weeks ago Insurint added 4 new Life Insurance Carriers to our quoting platform—Assurity, Mutual of Omaha, Western Reserve and Aviva. Based upon your suggestions and votes, our newest carriers received the most votes from your input on iSuggest! I hope you find this development as exciting as I do! How many other companies integrate YOUR ideas into THEIR products? The iSuggest tool has been a great resource in prioritizing tasks during our expansion and development process.  As a member of the community of brokers on the Insurint site, you truly have the power to help shape the future of this great tool.

Meet the New Insurint Reps: Russell

My name is Russell Greene, and while I may be relatively new to the Insurint team, I feel right at home here in the health insurance industry. I worked in a sales capacity as a Small Group Sales Representative for VIVA Health in Birmingham, AL and, more recently, in Medical Sales with CareSouth Home Health Care back in my native Atlanta. Now I’ve landed at Connecture and am settling into my new position as a Business Development Specialist for Insurint.   

The office is an exciting place these days with an ever-expanding customer service team and product development specialists hard at work on new features and upgrades. My colleagues and I will be posting to this blog as your inside sources; giving you a special “behind the scenes” look, and sharing the latest Insurint buzz. Insurint was founded on one simple principle—to build a premier quoting tool BY agents FOR agents. On that same note, I invite you to take an active role in the broker community on the Insurint site, and also encourage you to provide suggestions in our iSuggest tool:  a forum within the Insurint product that allows users to suggest new features as well as vote on others’ suggestions.

This blog will be a great resource to keep current on Insurint updates, industry news, and tips for utilizing the Insurint platform to its full potential.
